The office of the Chief Apostle functions to keep the doctrine pure while developing it further, opening up new insights, and uniformly spreading the testimony of faith to all parts of the world.
Zambia is among the many places the Chief Apostle visits once a year and this year (2019), the Chief Apostle will visit Zambia from the 18th to the 21st of July.
Because of this, District Apostle Charles Ndandula has been spiritually preparing New Apostolic Church members through fellowships and Divine Services.
Already in 2019, the District Apostle has visited a number of congregations among them is his recent visit to Chaisa Congregation in Lusaka.
During this Divine Service, the District Apostle read from the book of Mathew 18:20 as the text word:
“For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them”.
During the Divine Service, the District Apostle admonished the members to be aware that Christ was indeed in their midst as the text word said.
“Christ is in the midst of the congregation in every Divine Service, but we as His children need to rise to the level where we are tuned to Him and served,” he said.
The district Apostle was quick to remind the members of the importance of praying, knowing that Christ is always in their midst when they pray.
“It is important to pray because Christ is always in our midst and that unites us with Him. Not only are we united with Him through praying but also through partaking of the Holy Communion,” he said.
In winding up the service, the District Apostle encouraged the members to continue doing God’s work.
“Dear brothers and sisters, God wants to see all mankind saved and that’s why He loves us. Through this love we have received His blessings. Therefore, as His children, we need to continue working hard for Him because He is always with us when we do His work,” he said.
The District Apostle was accompanied by District Apostle Helper Robert Nsamba, Apostles Richard Kasoma of Kabompo, Elvis Liywalii of Mongu, Aggrey Singanda of Kaoma and host Donald Kalyangu.
Chaisa congregation was dedicated in 2014 by District Apostle Charles Ndandula on the 28th of September and has a total membership of 2, 893.
